Our Staff

The UEC's committed, hardworking staff is a creative mix of educational backgrounds and work experience. The full- and part-time staff members include those with bachelor's and master's degrees in biology, history, education, communication and business, to name a few. All of them are passionate about developing new models of environmental education and environmental mentoring.

Our Board of Directors

The Urban Ecology Center is guided by a committed, hardworking Board of Directors who collectively help formulate policy and provide oversight. In the early days, the board consisted primarily of people from the neighborhood around the Center. As the organization has grown, the board — while still maintaining its community ties — has expanded to include members with specific areas of expertise, including nonprofit administration, technology and development.
