Plan Your Next Event at Our Two Newest Branches!

Baby showers and birthday parties and weddings – oh my! When the education classes wrap up and our public programs are done, the second life of our classrooms and branches emerges. Retirement parties, memorial celebrations, bridal showers, company retreats and more! Our spaces get used all over again – a repurposing of space if you will – with our facility rental program.

Our Riverside Park branch might be the location most well-known for rentals – it has been home to weddings, taekwondo black belt ceremonies, memorial gatherings, parties of all shapes and sizes, lectures and homeschool daycare – but it is not the only location where space is available to rent out. Just look to the west and south; we have great spaces available at Menomonee Valley and Washington Park as well!

Washington Park

At Washington Park our spacious 100 person capacity Stage Room has been used for birthday parties from 4 years old to 90, local business staff meetings and non-profit organization dinners to name a few. The room has a wall of windows overlooking the historic Washington Park Lagoon and park which is great for any season. When rented during our business hours the room is $75/hr and outside of business hours it is $100 (with an additional $100 security deposit). The rental fee includes use of our tables, chairs, dishes, full kitchen and A/V equipment such as a PA system.

Menomonee Valley

If you are looking further south, our Menomonee Valley Branch has hosted many corporations, local businesses and nonprofits in our Flowerpot and Patio classrooms for all day retreats, meetings and luncheons. If you are in need of a little more space, the beautiful Valley Room has been used for bridal showers, parties and team building space. For an even larger gathering at MV, you can rent the whole building.

Last year we had our very first wedding at Menomonee Valley – it was amazing to see the building transformed into an interactive, unique celebration! The Valley Room started off as the ceremony space transforming into seating for dinner, the living room was the place to grab a bite or a drink and the Flowerpot room on the 2nd floor was bopping with beats for dancing. Even the animal room was utilized and at one point packed as Michael Espinoza, our Community Programs Educator, pulled out a turtle and talked about the native animals in the space!

Our classrooms at Menomonee Valley are $50/hr and the Valley Room is $75/hr during business hours, $100/hr outside of business hours (with an additional $100 security deposit). If you are interested in renting the whole building it is available on Saturdays for a flat $1000 rental fee ($300 security deposit) and you get the entire building from 5pm until midnight.

The rental fee includes use of our tables, chairs and A/V equipment such as a PA system or in house sound system.

Between all three branches, we have space to accommodate groups as small as 8 and as large as 200! Our staff is more than happy to chat with you about your room needs to find the space that will suit you best. All rentals help financially support our amazing programs and educational classes – and help keep our doors open for everyone to enjoy our 3 beautiful centers!
