- Bring your lunch to work or school in a reusable bag or box.
- Find great vintage items at thrift stores instead of buying something brand new.
-
Instead of buying a new bottle of cleaning spray refill it with a simple homemade cleaner:
- Fill the bottle with ¼ - ½ cup of white vinegar, 2 Tablespoons baking soda, a few drops of tea tree or eucalyptus essential oil (optional), and enough water to fill bottle.
- Reuse glass pasta sauce jars as food containers or to store homemade sauces.
- Disposable razors generate a lot of waste. Look for a reusable razor or one that can be recycled.
- Reuse paper that is only printed on one side.
- Use napkins and towels made of cloth instead of paper.
